What it does
A mobile app that keeps navigation working when GPS is missing, jammed, or spoofed. It uses the phone camera to recognize the surroundings (buildings, signs, intersections, skyline) and cross-references street-level imagery databases (Street View / Mapillary / ARCore VPS) to pinpoint the real location. From that visual fix, it dead-reckons with visual-inertial odometry constrained to the road/sidewalk network and gives turn-by-turn directions. It also acts as a GPS spoof detector: if the GPS pose and the visual pose disagree beyond a threshold, GPS gets flagged as untrusted.
